Based in Asia since 2002, Eric co-founded Aidenvironment’s Asia office in Indonesia in 2009. From sustainable tropical timber to palm oil, he has worked on a range of policy initiatives and sustainability certification schemes (including FSC and RSPO), working alongside local and global NGOs, investors, traders, and donor organizations. His work with Earthqualizer focuses primarily on supporting Asia-based plantation and palm oil traders to become more sustainable.

With more than 30 years of experience in tropical forestry and agricultural plantations, he supports Earthqualizer with a wealth of knowledge relating to governance, trade, investment and sustainability certification in Southeast Asia. Has worked as CEO’s from sustainable tropical timber to palm oil, he has worked and implemented a range of sustainability certification schemes (including FSC and RSPO, ISPO, ISCC).

During his career he has worked with NGO` s and upstream palm oil players, where he was instrumental to put them on the sustainable roadmap. He has great experience working with stallholders and plasma farmers and was able to certify the first independent farmers group with RSPO and ISCC certification. His work with Earthqualizer focuses primarily on supporting palm oil growers, refiners and traders to become more sustainable.

From 2013 Priscillia was based in Malaysia and Indonesia until 2019. She is currently our North America representative, based in Ontario Canada. She initially worked on traceability and desktop/field risk assessment of palm oil supply chains. Since 2015, Priscillia has been handling and advising some of the biggest palm oil industry refiners and consumer good companies on the implementation of sustainable sourcing policies throughout their supply chain. Her work with Earthqualizer focuses mainly on downstream companies and consumer market outreach.

Matt joined the Earthqualizer team in 2021. His academic background is in Anthropology, with training based on an integrated and holistic four-field approach. Since 2006, he has worked in Southeast Asia specializing in conservation biology, land use planning/management, and tropical ecology. He is experienced in the use of big data and data science techniques as a means to facilitate multi-sector engagement. He also has experience working with HCV-HCS methods, sustainability certification schemes (e.g., ISPO, MSPO, and RSPO), and sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI). Since 2006, Salman has worked for a number of local NGOs like Kontak Rakyat Borneo on spatial analysis and for the Independent Forestry Monitoring Network (JPIK) to monitor logging and tree plantation concessions in West Kalimantan. He has been working on forestry and plantation corruption and legality issues through ground verification and spatial data analysis. From 2010 onward, he received several assignments as Aidenvironment Asia’s in-house GIS and remote sensing specialist and joined Earthqualizer for spatial data management in early 2020.

Graduated from Gadjah Mada University, Roland is a geo-information professional with 11 years of experience, working in 13 developing provinces in Indonesia. He has been Earthqualizer’s GIS assistance unit leader since 2019, tasked with maintenance and development of the GIS database management system for HTI (Hutan Tanaman Industri) in South East Asia and Pacific. This includes detailed mapping and analysis, quality control and peer review for digitizing forest cover, land use and palm oil datasets.
